As we pause to remember those who have fallen in wars fought long ago, most Canadians’ thoughts will also turn to those soldiers who lost their live just this year on our home soil.
Please also take time to remember those who came home from war broken, physically and emotionally, whether they be 40 or 90 years old.
The Kin Canada National service project Portaits of Honour raises funds for the families of those soldiers who did not return from Afghanistan, and to support those soldiers who returned with life-changing physical injuries and emotional trauma.
